Kineo takes home awards at 2017 LearnX Impact awards


Kineo and clients have taken home five awards at the Australian-based LearnX Impact Awards 2017.

In its tenth year, the LearnX Impact Awards aims to identify and celebrate exceptional accomplishments of individuals and organisations in learning and development. It focuses on the impact of talent development and supporting technologies – areas which Kineo are delighted to be recognised for excellence.

This year Kineo adds five awards to their trophy cabinet, in the form of three platinum awards and two golds. For two years running, this leading learning technologies company takes home the best learning development company. 

Platinum awards

  • Best learning management solution deployment
    With client Vodafone Hutchison Australia on their Enterprise project. Vodafone wished to shift the delivery of learning from push (Vodafone enrol them in learning) to pull (learners enrol themselves). By creating a central learning platform that allowed learners to control their own learning, Vodafone employees felt empowered to learn collaboratively with colleagues.

Vodafone Hutchison Australia's Head of Capability and Talent Acquistion, Mal Reason, commented:

  • Best free elearning resource
    With client ASADA for their project: Ethical decision making in sport. This groundbreaking solution mimicked the already successful ASADA and NISU face-to-face training programme. The online equivalent using the Adapt Framework gives learners a comparable experience that can be accessed anywhere, on any device. Find out more about this project.
  • Best elearning development company
    With a focus on Kineo’s work with ASADA. This is the second year Kineo have taken this award home.

We are pleased to see that the course has been recognised as an outstanding eLearning resource by LearnX.The Ethical Decision Making course was a product of collaboration between Kineo, the National Integrity of Sport Unit and ourselves, and it’s exceeded our expectations in demonstrating that decision making in sport isn’t just black and white.

Gold awards

  • Best game design
    With client Health Promotion Agency NZ for their project ServeWise. This game based training needed to up-skill a demographic of 18-24-year-olds in how to correctly sell alcohol. Using 3D animation, rich media and real-life scenarios, ServeWise provided a single piece of relevant and engaging training.
  • Best behaviour change project
    With client Inland Revenue NZ for the project: The Rooms – Information management. The aim of this multi-channel programme was to increase awareness of good Information Management practises and behaviours at Inland Revenue to ensure compliance with the Public Record Act 2005 and to support building the Information and Knowledge Management (IKM) capability, the full case study can be found here

The team will be presented with this year’s awards during the LearnX summit on the 6th September at Sofitel in Sydney. Kineo will be in attendance at LearnX as co-hosts once again.
