      Innovation theatre session with Hajira Shaheen, Lead learning designer at Kineo
      Does the term ‘blended learning' simply mean a mix of face-to-face and online learning? Come along to see how we have implemented blended learning in a corporate context using a mix of online, offline and social learning. We will describe and demonstrate a specific learning solution that involved thoughtful design of a learning eco-system to promote active learning through a range of blended solutions."

      Client case study session with Gareth Killeen, Head of learning at Reece Group
      Everyone is talking about digitalisation, but how is it changing the paradigm of learning? Are we really turning the principles of learning on its head? And most importantly, why should we care? Machine learning, artificial intelligence and digitalisation is changing the world in which we operate at breakneck speeds, and if we don’t act now, we will be left behind. What do you need to do right now? Where do you invest? What does this look like? And how do you respond to the challenges in a practical way?

      Future Leaders now. A learning experience platform delivered by our learners"

      Client case study session with Gareth Killeen, Head of learning at Reece Group
      Reece wanted staff to realise their full potential, addressing a requirement to overhaul learning strategy to improve accessibility, engagement and provide intuitive personalised learner content recommendations. A six-month series of Design Labs involving a wide range of employees were run using human-centred design techniques to better understand pain points and challenges, as well as hopes and aspirations when learning. This led to the creation of a ‘right-for-Reece’ learning experience platform (LXP) and a new future proofing leadership development initiative called ‘Future Leaders Now.’ The LXP was required to fully enable and empower a learning-in-the-workflow blended approach meeting the needs of busy retail leaders.
      Adopting emerging technologies to form a total learning ecosystem, Reece has developed a visually exciting, fully interactive, cutting-edge blended learning product.

      Breakfast Seminar with James Ballard, Value proposition manager for Kineo and The Oxford Group
      Just 14% of employees in Australia find learning offered in their workplace very effective – even less than the 16% of the global workforce who say the same. This is leading to widespread disengagement, as many workers don’t see how the current training offered is helping them progress in their career or improve their workplace performance. We’ll be sharing insights about how employers can overturn this downward trend towards engagement with real-life examples of organisation that have adopted measurement to bring to life how effective learning can transform key business drivers like retention and business success.
